You just need two batteries to suit a 3.0TD 4Runner, if the parts shop dosn't list a Hilux Surf.

It's 12v, just two smaller batteries to save space of a big one wired in Parallel.

You need 550cca or bigger.

anyway ... welcome to the forum, sorry your new truck isnt to everyones taste , but each to there own . you obviously liked it to go out and buy it. i personally think it looks odd due to the long front end and very short rear .

it is a surf , battery wise if you go down to your local motor factors like halfords , they will be able to tell you exactly what you need , but im pretty sure if you read back a few posts tonyn has answered your question anyway .

and please dont swear on the forum (you mentioned a certain make of vehicle that the rear lights are off )

Hmm ..me thinks its time to say farewell and adue..I did think that even under the General section I would meet a few who were true OFF roaders (thats what my vehicle is made to do not just sit out side the house trying to look cute..My Bobtail is made to go across country (like muddy fields etc)and not cruise the roads around Chelsea London..Ugly hmm?AM I BOVVERED it does its job and does it very well.. Welded Tree sliders, welded front and rear bumpers, strengthened sump guard, bk raceing alloys,kumho KL71 muds
and its fast..if you see it make sure you are not in its way.lol.
