has anyone watched the awful american top gear copy yet ? i watched it the other day to see how bad it is and its a total copy even down to the set and the stig quite unbearable to watch really but they do some good reviews like the one on the new ford f150 raptor truck with the 6.2 v8 lump and serious suspension with 11 inches travel on the front and 12 inches on the rear a proper jump truck yeeeeehaaaa and its only 40k,or for another 7k you can have the supercharged veloceraptor i wonder if it is lez compliant or how much the road tax would be in london i might use one of those super discounts that boris has offered on a new car and trade in my light utility vehicle (surf)and get one..........

I don't mind it. I`d imagine the yanks got sold the rights to copy the prog with guidelines to stick to hence the blatant similarities.
Both top gears could do with the trash cutting out of them in my opinion, news, star in the car etc and just stick to the driving

I think people are missing the point about TG ...

It's NOT a car program - it's about blokes being childish and having a laugh at the licence payers expense and just happens to involve cars now and then

Yes US Top Gear is a direct copy, why mess with what works? I think its ok, once you get used to different people doing things. If you like playing silly buggers in cars its all the same, but with different motors.
