New Surf owner! a few questions

Hi everyone I need some advice on Surf ownership as I've just picked up my new Surf tonight (3.0 Gen3 N reg) And I love it!
Some toe rag tried to steal it on Tuesday night before I picked it up at the old owners house & chopped up the immobiliser wiring but couldn't get it started. I had to hot wire it to get it home tonight. Any advice on new immobilisers?

I want to do a full service with oils belts etc but need to know what model it is so I can order the right parts.
The plate on the bulkhead says model KZN185 but the frame is KZN130,
what do I have?
Is it best to do all the belt rollers along with the timing belt? Is there anything else to change or check, I haven't had a diesel before.

Thats very odd.

Pickup style fold down tailgate is a 130, lift up hatchback/estate style rear is a KZN185

A KZN130 chassis is very different to a KZN185, someone must be buggering about.

Everything on the engine the same apart from the air filter.

Defo the KZN185 if she's got the lift up tailgate.

Something's a bit fishyt tho, hot wire, someone chopped into wiring, bukhead says 185, frame says 130..... Hmmmmm????

As Bushwacker says, is the log book correct?

Sure it's nothing mate, but you need to be sure you got a 'real' motor.....

I hope you've got a receipt and made a note of the sellers address.
The seller should have contacted his insurance company and not have released the truck until the attempted theft and damage was investigated.

Check the frame number that is stamped into the chassis behind the driver side front wheel, it should start with KZN185

Blimey and I was worried about only having a copy of the mot, with my surf purchase this week. hope it all turns out allright
