  • Does anyone else seem to be constantly fixing stuff?

Just wondering what everyone else has to repair on a weekly basis?

In the last 7 days alone Ive had to replace 2x half shafts, repair gearbox solenoid after getting stuck in 4wd, re-build my manual hubs, (yet was so glad to have the hubs after gearbox not letting it out of 4wd) and re-fit power steering belt after falling off (how? I dont know!)

On my to do list is:

thrust bearing in gearbox is stuffed so dropping box and may as well do clutch while out obviously,

    Finish installing intercooler,

Find diesel leak, (half done, its coming from #1 injector connection)

    Re-gas aircon,

I could list more but dont want to bore you lol.

Any one elses truck this much of a

must have been abused by the last owner then damit, bit of a shame as I bought it because the body/paint is perfect and the chassis dosent have a spec of rust anywhere (we dont salt roads here)

well looks can be deceiving then

Done starter, alternator, fan belts, battery, scratched it up a bit, now possible slow puncture, not car's fault mind.
MOT in a couple of weeks though
            Still Can't believe I own a Hilux

I should also mention shes done 185,000km, first owner replaced the v6's head, then I drowned that and threw a rod out the side of the block ,that replacement v6 threw a bottom end bearing 8 months later and now shes a 2.4 turbo diesel,

Next time it dies think im gonna have to do the v8 thing
