Hi guys, I suppose you saw the flooding here in Dublin this week? Unreal amount of rain, a months worth in one day. I was called on to tow a mate through deep water to rescue his van after he'd sucked water into the engine. My 3rd gen took this in it's stride but since then I've had the following symptoms. 1. Very poor braking immediately after the rescue. ( this is no longer an issue.) 2. The following day the brakes were much more effective than normal and would squeal just before suddenly jamming on as I came to a stop at lights. ( I had to use very gentle pressure on the pedal.) 3. Now when driving, it feels like the brakes are binding and I'm driving through soup (no more squealing) It definitely doesn't roll as far as it used to, when I let up on the accelerator. Anyone got any helpful suggestions or advice. Is it possible I got water into the diff breathers. The bow wave from a passing Landcruiser coming the other way lapped up my drivers door as far as the window.
