I just got a used driveshaft for my third gen, I was wondering what sort of amount of play to expect? (with it not fitted)
There is a "fair bit of movement" fron the inner CV (diffside) from searching this is normal in a second gen, I assume the same rules apply to a third gen?
There is also a bit of in out movement on the outer CV, much less then the inner side, but enough to noticably feel it go clunk.
I was going to replace the inner CV boot before fitting as both mine tore after the lift, I assume any old boots will do the same, What the easiest way of doing this? - or does it become clear once the boot is off?
