Is the A/C condensation drain connected? Its the small pipe going through the bulkhead and ends pointing down. Inside it connects the the bottom of the A/C matrix housing.
Or maybe the rear heater matix leaking, is the rear footwell wet too?4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road...

Don't know how to create links to old threads, but I posted similar problem last year. After much investigation, tracked it down to poorly routed radio ariel lead.
If your ariel is fitted to N/S front wing like mine, the co-ax cable routes from the bottom of the ariel unit inside the wing space and downwards into the vehicle through a hole in the panel to the side of the footwell, before routing inside the cabin space to the radio.
Rain water is designed to run into the inner wing spaces and drain out behind the front wheels.
My ariel lead was allowing this water to track into the vehicle ... when I simulated it with a hose whilst trying to find the leak, I couln't believe how much water came in over a short period of time!
I remedied this by buying a co-ax extension lead, which enabled me to feed back some of the original ariel cable into the wing space and create a deep U bend in it, so that the bottom of the loop was well below the height of the hole entering the cabin space. Any rain water runs off the bottom of the loop inside the wing space.
A rubber grommet (13mm I think) for the hole is probably advisable too.
Hope this helps keep your passenger's feet dry!Last edited by knicko; 14 October 2011, 19:55.Nick...... Turning Japanese, I really think so !!
