3rd Gen Ball joints...

As there is a now a rattle since lifting my third gen I have decided to replace all 4 front ball joints for piece of mind.

I have heard of people experiancing front lower ball joint failure on these trucks and was wondering if anyone here had experiance of it...

Has anyone used anything like this?

-or should I stick with genuine parts for peace of mind? (not specced the price yet, but I know Toyota used to charge £114 for one supra one!)

I'd get them from Roughtrax, most 3rd Gen ball joint failures have been aftermarket ones. (ie, cheap ones....)

Not had a problem with a R/T one in all the ones I've done.

Apparently there was a recall on Toyota ball jonts too? -at least there was states side.. is there any where if I can check if m ine was within that recall, short of going to toyota?

Track rod ends, 70.85 ECH
Top ball joints 32.20 EACH
Bottom joints 41.55 EACH

I always check with Toyota before I buy stuff for my truck. They are often cheaper than aftermarket.
