Just bought a Gen2 Hilux Surf SSR-X Ltd. So, thought I'd hop on and say hello.

I enjoy working on cars and have a MKII Mr2 which I've put a 3VZ-FE Camry engine into and bolted on a Tacoma Supercharger just for fun Will post pics if any one is interested.....

I have a few question about the Surf before I get started with the fettling but, I'll just say hi for now and have a trawl through the forum....

Will get some pics sorted over the weekend

Hello Lee. Welcome to the forum. Nice truck. It does look a little higher than standard. Possibly a 2" lift on the rear coils, and maybe tweaked torsion bars. A side on view would confirm........Cheers....Mick.

I have read the threads about over heating but, I probably won't be taking it off road too much or over working the engine, just yet anyways

Exact same in all respects as mine...but looks better.that will be because the graphics have been taken off.... Oh that was before all the mods I've had done so not the same now...Still...now I would like the graphics removed after seeing yours, but seems like a major headache..

I plan to "bling it up" a little inside and have some ideas for the engine. I'm looking to get a new pair of the LIMITED decals on the side, do you have any idea where I can get some? Can't find them any where!

Nice surf. How was your mr2 to drive with the extra engine weight? I owned a mk1 for a brief period last year. Sold it to preserve my own life! Ha. Too much fun.
