  • Aaaaa! FFS!

When I stripped the head off the truck, I dropped 2 nuts and one washer. Both nuts were the shouldered type, but I could have used any nut of the same thread size to do the job. The washer was one of the ones from the throttle body, the ones with the rubber bit attached.

Guess what ones I found and what one has vanished into thin air?

The Washer's probably stuck to a greasy bit of the engine/drivetrain and never hit the floor...

have you got one of them telescopic magnets, could be down the side of the engine, have lost quite a few nuts and washers down behind the injector...

I think it went behind the starter motor. I'm going to have another poke around there tomorrow. Sod's Law again!

Most excellent. Did you try Aveneda? We just booked up for 8 days in Portugal at the end of next month.

I'm nightshift this weekend, or I would have.

                      hehe, typical.

On the brightside, you get new rubbered washers for the intake with the head kit.

                      So relax.
