Just got back from the first trip in the surf,700mile trip to N wales and back i am happy to report no prblems what so ever and got 34mpg as well,can't wait for my next get away.

Yes the odo is in km but i converted to miles,and it was'nt on a trailer i was going steady with it.

It is correct i did'nt believe it myself it can only get worse .

Unfortunately that doesn't make sense to me.

To convert litres to gallons, x0.22

To convert km to miles, x0.625

Chances are you've got a 65 litre fuel tank (at least, thats how big the fuel tank on my Surf is).

I don't think I have seen a fuel consumption test that has been ok stupid question time but do any of the new shinys come with fuel computers?

In comparision my vito does on AVERAGE 33 mpg

Hey Shokes the new Vito's can do nearly 650 miles to a tank.I'm not on commission though as i work for Mercedes

The L200 i am using at the moment i get 450 miles to a tank which is pretty good

L200 ? which year ,had one on a 56 plate had to sell it 'cos the kids kept being sick (bit of a bouncy ride) coming back from god's country on one trip had to stop seven times

Its a 2001 classic.The ride is sturdy and not bouncing.Its not as comfortable as a surf though unless its just the leather seats that make it uncomfortable

It's City West Commercials in Victoria near St Austell.We have a 3 day open event late in October and we are trying to get the new Actros over from Germany for the open days
