puff of smoke

I get a little puff of smoke from the rear of the engine, near the egr gubbings
deffo exhust fumes any ideas would be welcome,

The EGR pipe may be cracked; quite common.

do you mean the manifold pipework?

The pipe between the EGR and the exhaust manifold. It's a steel pipe and has been known to crack.
