help, is it knackered

ive been noticing a clicking/grinding noise from the drivers front corner so i used my microcam to film this , it especially makes the noise when im coasting to a stop.
anyone any idea what it is and what needs sorting/replacing

Hard to say, it sounds CV jointy. The inner boot looks like it's burst and spat grease everywhere, perhaps it's that?

The grease is because I repacked that joint yesterday, but I have noticed that the part on the front diff that the drive shaft bolts to has a bit of play in it , I can move it up and down about 5mm . Could my diff be knackered?

5mm would suggest a yes, it could be knackered. Or a pinion nut has come loose.

Is it leaking oil?

I'm only round the corner, do you want to compare? My drive shaft has some movement too but was told they all do?

Cheers dude , its not the movement in the driveshaft itself I'm worried about , its the output shaft for the front diff that's worrying me, the drivers side moves lots , the passenger side doesn't lol,

cant here the clicking noise but your engine sounds very rough unless its the recording?
