Really Kwikfit? Reaaally.........

Ok so I book the truck in for a free brake check at kwikfit today. I know somethings seriously wrong with my brakes.

I go back to collect the car when its finished, and the guy tells me "sorry sir, we couldn't complete the brake test, because your bonnet catch doesn't work".

"Show me then" i ask.

We go out to the truck, and hes pulling on the fuel filler cap lever.

"How about the one next to it mate, which opens the bonnet........."





And then he goes on to tell me that my rear half-shaft is leaking gear oil onto the pads, and is contaminating them. And that they won't repair it, because its a 4x4, and its a '94! And that i'm better off going to a 4x4 specialist.

Damn right......

I would have replied, "Coming from a bloke who can't even open a bonnet, I'd have to agree with you."

Not a good advert for their services - would you really want someone that inept advising you on your brakes!!
