Those wheel arch's came as standard on my 3rd gen and think they are standard on all 3rd gens , and are available from Toyota, I had a rear one ripped off in a carpark ordered from Toyota received 2 days later fitted within an hour, matching the silver colour was a bit of a pain though.

They are not the standard wheel arch extensions.

They are about twice the width of the standard ones (look at the extensions on the front bumper for reference, they are factory width.

Judging by the fact that the rear doors still have their trim I’m guessing they fit over the original items.

The reason that I like them so much is that they look as if they could almost have been factory...

I found some posts by the owner of this 3rd gen on the Yotatech site and he had the same question about the arches over there.

He posted up a link to a japanese site, but that was a few years ago and they don't seem to do them anymore.

I could (for a fee) extend your arches for you and make them to the exact shape as the ones in the pic. It would be a lot easier and cheaper to modify the arches that you already have than make new ones from scratch. I am a boat builder/composite technician by trade, although I am not currently in the industry I do have some chop strand mat and poly resin, which is what the arches are made of originally. I have been planning on getting back into boat building in the near future, once I am set up I was going to start knocking out some rear bumper corners for the 2nd gens along with some other ideas that I have. Below is a pic of a boat I helped build when I was 19 back in 2004, it is the South African boat that was used in the last Americas Cup, this pic was taken in Triest, North Italy in 2008. That's me with the dodgy sunnies sat nearest the pointy end.
