Who is cheapest for moddified Surf Insurance?

Have got someone interested in buying my Surf but he has been quoted £1500 in insurance. He is 40 years old lots of no claims bonus. Any advice on who he can ring.

Sureterm have insured Lexurf cheaply, and have insured my other Surfs as well (£250 - 300 with no NCB). For some reason Adrian Flux always gives me very high quotes, though others have a different experience.

I'm 20 with only 1yr no-claims and it's a lot less than that for me with Admiral using their multi-car thing with parents

Mine's insured through A-Plan on a specialist 4x4 scheme and I'm paying about £380 p/a that's with one fault accident on my record.

Only downside is no cover on other vehicles but my MR2's insurance takes care of that.
