Are these Army images genuine

To those who know, are these images British Army or US Army with a bit of photoshopping, look at the helmets and guns etc

(you might have to save the image to your desktop and then zoom in on it there)

Definitely all US Forces. Brits wear different helmets and don't wear ACU Camo or the Multicam some of them seem to have on (it's definitely not the new UK MTP camo). Even the bottom right looks like US Sniper School guys.

The plot thickens, a guy rang me offering special advertising rates in a "well established" British Army magazine called FORWARD MOVE.
For ££££ I could have half a page, this mag is distributed throughout the British Army, yet something did not ring true, when I googled it and there were no hits.
I rang a few army barracks and no one has ever heard of this magazine.
The i looked at the photos and thought those are those American troops ?

-Magazines dont tend to change the font/size or style of the name of their said magazine.

-4 of the crappy 'back copies'.
The top right one says Issue 11 November 2010.
The bottom left one says Issue 10 July 2010.

the publishing company can't be found on google either and his address seems to be a "rent an office"

Is there a ISSN assigned to the publication. It wouldn't prove that it was a genuine publication but it might add a touch of business acumen to the endeavour.
He does seem to have changed the typeface for the cover design a few times in the examples shown, with no progression to the design from one to the next. There should be some official organisation that you can contact to confirm the distribution/readership numbers as this would let you know how much the advertising space is worth.
As someone else has suggested, show some interest but ask for some sample copies "so you can judge how you advert will sit within his publication". Also ask him what format he would want the advertising copy in, how many pages are full colour, are the full colour pages 4 or 6 colour, what dpi resolution would images need to be, is the magazine perfect bound or saddle stitched. He should know or be able to find out all these answers and there are loads more I could suggest.

Hi Pete, I`ve just been picking through your thread. Very interesting, this link should make a good comparison. This is how a web site for a magazine supporting the armed forces looks. See if you can spot the few subtle differences.

Might be someone there who can answer your questions, and be very interested to hear about them too I would`nt doubt.
