  • Toyota Contact Details

I will start with a GRRRR!!!
Now after what I thought was a succesful phone call to Toyota GB last week, with regard to steering arm recall.I have just been back in touch with them on the same number and "they" have no record of my phone call.
Can anyone explain to the difference between frame no. and chassis no. as they also said the frame number is not the same as the chassis number as per my V5?
    So my questions are.....
1,Anyone in the know got a contact name or number for some one in Toyota who I should be talking to?
2,Any idea if this is the right part? http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=142&vid=1591 Ouch expensive!!
3,I would assume fitting one off a breaker would be as risky as leaving my current unknown condition steering arm in place?

Any answers would as usual be appreciated.

There's a chassis number on the er, chassis on the driver's side behind the front wheel.
The number should be the same as on the VIN plate in the engine compartment, unless your truck has been re-shelled?

Yes that is the part in the Roughtrax link.

So what are they on about when they(toyota) say the chassis number is not the frame number? I am confused..... yeah I know it don't take much.
And at $150 I will wait to see if Toyota are gonna cough up
I could spend that money on a set of +2" shocks!!!!!
