  • Washing car without water!!

    Hi all

Here in "sunny" France we're in the grip of a hose pipe, and no car washing ban, despite the fact it has'nt stoped raining for the last two weeks!!
A friend came from the UK last week and left me with half a bottle of solution for cleaning the car without water, and its ###### brilliant!!! You just spray it on,rub it about, and polish it off
My truck had'nt been washed for, well lets just say some time, and I gave her a "rinse" over tonight. I'd say it's a perfect product for the shiny club boys!!
No idea what it's called though!
Here's a couple of pics! Sorry if anyone finds the picture of the 4runner disturbing

If anyone has used it or knows what it is,please let me know

    Best Regards

    Mark

I have used the meguires equivelent on the BMW a couple of times, or on a chaufeur car before a job.

It works very well, but doesn't safely remove grit like a microfibre mit and water with shampoo..

That said I am defying my shiney instincts... I have not washed a car in months!

        Looks good by the way!

              Greased Lightning

I use Greased Lightning's showroom shine. It comes in a 1Ltr bottle with a spray nozzle. It is a cream color with a yellow separated layer floating on top, just shake to mix and start spraying on. I use a couple of microfiber cloths, one to lift dirt & one to buff the shine up. Got it from some TV shopping channel. Gives a good layer of Carnauba wax protection for the winter as-well. Photo of my SSR-X after a 20 minute buff.

Never realised that the reason I have only washed the truck once since I bought it was because I spend time next door!!.... That's it I'm banning myself from going there...
                    .... Which was nice.
