I've got the TV on in the background, American Celebrity Apprentice is on. I just happened to glance up as Gene Simmons said 'God damn it' The word God was beeped out. What kind of fuc ked up world is this?
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Yup, whenever I see blanked out faces or t-shirt slogans on TV programes, my interest in them is immediately lost and I switch over.

Its the kind of world where people think its perfectly acceptable to curse and swear pretty much anywhere, and in front of anybody, and where people think its OK to wear T shirts with profanities and pornography on them in public. Having said that I dont think censoring the word God from God damn it makes much sense.
Ive lived in societies where TV and newsprint was heavily censored and it did not sit well with me, but at the same time I constantly wish that we as a society did not eff and blind constantly in public and wander the streets with profanity embossed clothing. I can curse and swear with the best of them, but I cant do it in front of women and kids. Im not sure why because some of the most foul mouthed these days are those same women and kids. I suppose its an age thing, swearing is just words, and the words which I was told were "bad" seem to be mainstream these days.

Swearing in some programmes/films on telly work and add to the overall effect
ie;- imagine "lock stock and two smoking barrels or a tarrantino film without swearing! it would be rubbish, however just swearing for the sake it diminishes the effect, i hate hearing women and kids swear, it's all down to knowing when a swear word is appropiate and when not to swear,
i have (on the odd occiasion) been known to "lord mare" a bit especially when i drilled into my digit with my minicraft drill the other night even the dog put his paws over his ears
also hate that "gangster talk" cr@p like "wot him name" and "innit", their in England so effing talk English,
Too young to die and too old to give a toss

Just been watching Police Interceptors, there was a 'call' to go and rescue a dog that was running around nervously on a busy dual carriageway intersection.
They blanked out the DOG'S face so it couldn't be recognised!!
                It's a feckin' dog!
