  • Standard Height

    Hi guys,

I have recently bought a Surf, 94 3.0 kzn. Its a Import. I thinks that its been lifted, but to my limited lack of knowledge i can't find and clues.. the shocks and springs look like stock, however mine seems higher than a fewi i've seen.
Just wonderd if anyone knew the standard height from the ground to the bottom of the truck, or top of tyres to the arches.

Hope this makes sence, would appreciate your answers..
    Thanks.

Hello Sam. Welcome to the forum. A lot of standard Surfs sag in the rear. When new, they stood 66" tall. Quite a few people have asked similar questions over the years. If you use the "search" facility, there's a wealth of information at your fingertips....Happy hunting.....Mick.

By a funny co-incidence I was just checking mine, I believe from top of wheel rim to arch - 13 inches is standard.

                I dress normally (for a red neck) - I'd like a poem

                Here are a couple:

                A WOMAN'S POEM:
Before I lay me down to sleep,
                I pray for a man who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong.
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
                I pray he's rich and self-employed,
And when I spend, won't be annoyed.
Pull out my chair and hold my hand.
Massage my feet and help me stand.
Oh send a king to make me queen.
A man who loves to cook and clean.
I pray this man will love no other.
And relish visits with my mother.

                A MAN'S POEM:
I pray for a deaf-mute gymnast nymphomaniac with
big tits who owns a bar on a golf course,
and loves to send me fishing and drinking. This
                doesn't rhyme and I don't give a sh!t.
“Do or do not... there is no try.”

                  Thanks

                  Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies. Just measured in, and it seems that its 3inches higher than standard, must of had a body lift. Right next question, does anyone know of any good shocks and springs for a further lift. i've looked at rough trax and they only have one set for sale. any help or suggestions would be great!

                  cheers.

Gor blimey! If it's had a 3" lift already, and you want to go higher still, you might want to do a search on the forum for 'Lucifer' and go from there.. ;0)

Where abouts in West Sussex are you from by the way?

                      Cheers,

                            How about:

                            Spider, spider, on the wall,
what a silly place to crawl.
Don't you know it's just been plastered?
                            Now you're stuck you stupid...
