    Well ain't that a Bitch.
Lifting my compressor onto my van yesterday I heard a POP, there's was no pain to start with but by midnight my shoulder was killing.
I got about an hours sleep lastnight , and at 9am I couldn't lift my arm at all without being in tears. After a trip to a+e it turns out I've torn the tendon in my shoulder and it could take 2weeks to heal.
    OMG it hurts

    Ouch indeed.
I tore a tendon in my ankle a few years ago. Has your shoulder gone purple yet?

      Ouch!!!

Many years ago I feel over when very drunk next to a pool.

Being drunk, mid fall my main concern was not to spill the bottle of beer I was enjoying and I feel straght back, onto the back of my shoulder..

No dramatic pops or anything but it still twinges.. Should injurys are not nice and you have my sympathy!

I've been been some lovely tablets though that have one main side effect. It increases the risk of heart attack or strokes Lmao.

Hope you recover soon and it doesn't affect your driving or pint lifting abilities.
            Now it's time to play!

I damaged a tendon in my left wrist at the gym when I was about 16 ish. Took years before it got any better cos I got bad advice from my GP at the time...!

Hope yours heals quick, dude. All I can suggest is rest as much as possible.

I once cut myself shaving.... Apart from that I've been very lucky!

Has anyone seen 127 hours? chopping your arm off with a cheap, blunt Leatherman copy must hurt a bit (I always carry a proper leatherman just in case)

                      2 weeks?!

                      You'll be lucky mate...

I tore what I think was a muscle in my neck/shoulder lifting bags of cement about 6 weeks ago and am still in pain now...

luckily I like the smell of Deep Heat!

Hope your better soon, if you need a hand with any work commitments, I'm pretty quiet at the mo bud.

I did a tendon in my shoulder some years ago, the one that goes through the collarbone, took about 6 weeks of doing next door to nothing with that arm for it to fix. Hurts like hell.

On the bright side I can drink ale with either hand..............

Cheers mate, ill keep your number handy as may have a few big jobs in the next few weeks.
The tablets are working quite well at moment, I can sort of lift my arm up today but only to a 45deg angle before pain lol.
