Sandstorm in Arizona 05/07/11

My friends posted this on their Facebook page. They said it went quite dark. I've only been in one sandstorm. Was a little like yellow fog. So we went to the beach.

I have two large original acrylic paintings by New Mexico artist 'Aydin Shade' of very similar scenes (even down to the cactus in the foreground!) They cost me an arm and a leg when I was out there around 7 or 8 years ago, but they still make my spine tingle, and make me yearn to go back there, whenever I look at them.
