Potential 3rd gen buyers beware

I recently viewed this truck and its pretty shabby inside, wheels painted with brush and silver paint, expansion tank full of foam after driving it.

If local by all means have a look but i would not make to much effort.

Also dent on tailgate behind spare wheel, Back of rear seats ripped.

Looks quite nice in photos but disappointing on close inspection.


I wouldnt give him £2000 for it.

This one has come up before with a warning. The seller often has a Surf or two for sale on Ebay and has used different seller names. No connection with the Surf specialist garage in Bolton as far as I know.

Hahaha! i suppose it has to have one good point.....Nah mate they probably are a nice truck, i am still a neanderthal i like my old derv... Maybe one day i might just try a petrol one just to compare.

You will hate it, so quiet you think it's stalled when you reach a junction and cheaper at the pumps with more MPG, just stick to the tractor you have.

Maybe mate! i'm quite taken with my 3rd gen diesel at the minute it's quite nice compared with the old discovery but, i still have a soft spot for my old 2.4 as she's sat on the drive at the moment waiting for some TLC before, she departs to a new owner when i find someone suitable

Thats a given.......diesel...suitable for Tractors and smokey generators

This one is pricey (or I got an unbelievable bargain!) but nice.
