Older siblings? That's my excuse...

My brother is almost 50 and I grew up listening to all sorts of stuff like that before I even made it to infants school.

I remember getting a few odd looks from a teacher when I was in infants school (I'd be about 5 I think) cos I was singing some dodgy Black Sabbath or Judas Priest or something to myself.

I distinctly remember the teacher asking me "is everything ok at home or is there something you'd like to talk to me about?"

i grew up with a band in the next bedroom
i hated it at the time
i had 16 speakers in my room with a realy good amp i could make the windows down stairs shake manly with pink floyd or roger waters
my brother who's band it was hated pink floyd
i now listen to the same music but i find my self stuck on the old stuff that i hated so much has a kid
my brother who is now the biggest pink floyd fan i know of aint in the band no more but i can hear him freaking out still at weekends
he is good but i wont ever say it to him
i just never have
