  • Hi All

Just wanted to say hi, I am planning on getting a 4wd vehicle very soon and it's looking like a Surf so thought I should join your forum to get some valuable information.

Currently driving a BMW 330d and I do love it but unfortuinately it's not practical for work and it's totally useless in the snow hence my interest in the Surf

Nothing wrong with a BMW mate, I'm thinking of getting rid of the surf for an X5.

Welcome. If the BMW is rear wheel drive like my BMW and the Surf is going to be fitted with A/T tyres like my Surf then the Surf is going to be far superior in the snow. However if the snow turns to ice it doesn't matter if you have 4wd or A/T tyres, you ain't going to get anywhere.

                    Lexurfs are quicker than those.

If I had the money to purchase another 3rd gen I would love to drop it off at yours with a bag of cash & await your call to say it's ready.
