    mornin' all

even though the problem with the injection pump filters has completely fixed the problem we had I've decided that it's probably time to let her go.

She has been the best truck I've ever owned and for teh 6 years I've had her, apart from changing the head last year and the recent pump issue, she hasn't cost me a penny in repairs etc. apart from normal servicing.

Sold her Sunday and hope that her new owner has as much fun as I did.

Even tho I,m no longer a surf owner (gone to the dark side as per my revised profile) I will still be dipping in as I really enjoy the friendly banter on here, hope I can find something similar for the new truck

Well i don't know what to say mate.... it's no fun getting rid of a vehicle that you like, it's like trying to part a child from their favorite toy that's been glued together too many times to glue again.
I'M ALWAYS IN THE SH'T, IT'S ONLY THE DEPTH THAT VARIES!!!!!!!!

              all

cheeky, the rangie won't be seeing a garage if I can help it - she's 2 owners frm new 80,000 miles and full history.

didn't trade in the surf, put an advert in the back windows and a really nice chap from Pontefract/Wakefield (Ackworth) rang me and paid the full asking price.

i will miss the surf but life goes on -

Si, you are more than welcome to pop over sometime and I'll show you how I fitted my ATF cooler

              cheers
