Download sites????

Any of you guys use em for either films or music? can you reccomend any to me? i dont expect you to own up to illeagilly downloading movies or films on an open site (pm me for those, kidding of course) free downloads would be great, most of the ones i had a look at advertising as "free" were in fact not free at all, dont mind a small charge but really dont fancy shelling out 5-7 quid to download a film that will be on ebay on dvd for next to nowt in a few weeks,
i currently get a lot of old stuff from "internet archive" these are mostly american films and tv series all of which are old and in the public domain,
mainly interested in downloading some tracks for adding to memory sticks which will be for the in-truck entertaimment system (sterio)

Ian i have about 90 dvd cases here that i bought a few years ago and also some cd cases.If you want to cover p&p then you can have them.Just a thought if you wanted to expand your collection

Try bolt.org and get a hotfile or rapidshare account, much cheapness and lots of choice.
Torrents can be tracked by ISP.

Vuze is what I use... Torrent sites I use are Isohunt and Piratebay mostly, but there are loads out there. Just download the Torrent Client of your choice (BitTorrent, Vuze etc) and then just go to a torrent site and search/browse for torrents. As Scorpion mentioned, check all downloaded files with a virus checker, and always try and download the more popular files (normally shows number of seeds/leechers) and read peoples feedback.
