Is it still painted in blackboard paint? and has it still got that awefull snorkel top? (one of a pair i made, look like concord air intakes)

Yep to both. It is pretty much as it was although we i remove the death trap wiring and some other half arsed mods.

It has probably covered 50mile in the last 2 years.
