KYB shocks

Hi anyone on here used KYB shocks?
Are they good?bad? or average,
Whats the best shocks you guy recommend from experience?

I have procomp, decent performance but look tatty after a few months. Still working fine though.

Forget the link, biggest manufacturer of shocks in the world, I would expect a decent warranty at least.

I have rancho shocks on about a year with no problems and dont rust like the procomps did, but either brand do the job just fine in my opinion!

Where did you purchsae the ranchos?
were they expensive? The KYB are 80 euro each which seems good

i had ranchos on mine, but due to doing speed ramps at 40+ mph i snapped the threaded stud off the top of the drivers side rear, went up to local scrappy (higgins of kilcock) and found a fire damages surf hiding in the back with what looked like nearly new ranchos, had the for €60 for the pair,

they now adorn my surf beautifully, i think they stand up to my abuse anyway....

I used to swear by KYBs untill I fitted a set to the other half's MR2. in under a year three have blown.

Very odd, as usually the quality is spot on. That said our roads are shyte!

i had megan coilovers on my mr2 lasted years if that helps.

I've got Rough Country shocks - better than the standard shocks, can't say how they compare to others as I've not had the others.
