    anyone got an easy way of getting the old one off? cheers

      No easy way Marc !! but a couple of good largish hammers one for hitting n the other for Support .... a few good Clouts to shock the Pitman arm in loosening should do it !!

        i was abit worried about damaging the steering box.Tried with a puller,that bent.Right i`m off to buy a bigger hammer

              I had to cut mine off with a 1mm cutting wheel on the grinder. It wasn't shifting an like you I didn't want to shaft the steering box. Other than that, it's heat and brute force I rekon.
