glad you've posted that picture up tho, as its pretty close to what i was thinking - hence that mustang image - must be on a similar wavelength to each other...
i've got hundreds of ideas in my head people/mates tell me not to post up about them, some i do, but then accused of copying, trust me, i try n be original where ever i can - but as said, i do it for me..

Yeah lets just put it down to getting off on the wrong foot, i do offer my appologies for my first post, it's that like you i try to be original but it's getting harder to find something that's not already been done.
if you havent already sign up to retro rides proboards and spend hours trawling throgh some of the threads on there - there's some crap, but mostly full of cool stuff
here's a good one - picture thread
a cool delica post apocolyptic style
and full of things like this - my all tiem favourite capri

got a crazy clown mid way up, a rubbish tribal thing in the middle and then a cool fairy up top, need to get it finished but time and funds havent allowed..Last edited by lawsy; 6 May 2011, 22:56.

That is nice, wonder if he solved the can't go round corners problem as well lol, i got tons of stuff on the original Mad Max car, one of my favorite films mainly for the cars lol.
I'm just getting back in to tattooing after a 10 year break (relationship break up) but did it for 18 years before that. who does your ink?

Here is a mad idea for you, i was going to try and work out a way for the exhaust to come up through the inside of the car and out through the roof, come in just behind the rear seats, straight up and out the roof with those exhaust flaps on that semi's have but couldn't work out how i would deal with the heat problem and what heat shielding to use so it didn't set fire to the interior lol, plus coming up through the floor, hmm big hole in floor not sure mr MOT man would aprove lol, then the prob of water getting in where the exhaust exits through the roof.

Nice truck btw, I really like the exhausts!
Mine's grey so I'm thinking doing a coat of clear matt over it, not sure what it will come out like though!
Matt
thanks on truck - there is a couple of other threads on here, first when i did zorsts, then the matt black, but they all ended up gong off tangents, hence new post.. lol and thats doing same (sort of)
when you say yours is grey, you men the whole truck, clear matt over it wouldnt quite have the same effect as actually applying matt paint, could look cool tho - not seen it done that way
years back we did a matt black with gloss black flames on i - kind of tempted to bring that idea back to, but not sure it'd work as well on the surf

yeah he had some 'tax issues' a few years back, has since taken up residence in no limits run by another chap called Steve - they are putting on a convention this year in Reading too..
might pop n see Ian soon, i fancy a biohazard logo instead of the usual spiders web on my elbow...

i've always wanted stack exhausts, if i ever get a pick up then it will be one of the first things i do..
i spoke to the exhaust man about having them exit up behind the rear seat and then vent out the roof - he said yeah its possible but would be about 2k and a few days work to get right, so gave up on that idea...
