  • Yet more wheel and tyre queries

I'm sure I have read on here that 16" rims will not fit on a 2nd Gen without catching unless they have body/suspension lifts.

My 2nd gen has 16" rims with 275/70 tyres and seems to cope fine.

I pretty sure there is no body lift fitted, does anyone know what the standard ride height should be so I can check if the suspension's been lifted?

I'm going to be needing some new rubber before long, would I be better going back to 15" rims or sticking with the 16s?

you got it the wrong way round. The 16" will fit a 2nd gen but 15" rims won't fit a 3rd gen unless i think its the very early 3rd gens on the change over year
    that 15" will fit

I was running 16's with a saggy arse and no lift.
