  • Hello.

    Hi all,
I'm Jay from Luton. Ive decided that I'm now getting a bit old for the drift scene and this is as good a time as any to scratch the itch thats been telling me I need a surf in my life.
So here I am...intending to do my research on what model to buy...1st thought is 3ltr diesel..but I have an open mind at the min so this may change.

welcome to the forum I would go for a 3ltr gen3 A.K.A hairdressers surf due to it having more toys and plastic in it!! Thats me being biased as I have one! It depends on your budget what to go for but 3/3.5 grand will get you a good one, mileage on these is around 100k but there's some out there with a lot less!
The search function on here will help a lot as will the nice folk who pop in with a wealth of info!!

Hi Jay, your best bet is a 3rd gen 3 litre but if you do go for the 2nd gen 2.4 make sure the head has been sorted before you buy.

On the other hand you can be a bit different & go for a petrol version but not many about.

Enjoy the forum as it's a mine field of information & not all of it useless.
If its not broke don't fix it.

            Sorry mate, it's late & I'm sleepy.

Yes Jay the 3 litre 2nd gen would be good also.
