Yeah, I remember that one. A tyre went, causing an imbalance which instantly took out the whole front suspension. Bet he needed a clean seat after that!

Possibly - not a particularly strong one! It may have been the speculation at the time, but I'm sure there was mention of a tyre going causing a chain of failures.

It was a 'right front upright' apparently. It was a new part that they were trying out in practice. I suspect they put that one back in the drawer....
