Trouble starting my Surf!

Hello Everyone,

I had trouble starting my surf yesterday, it turns over well, plenty of power in the batteries, it just doesnt want to fire up, took about 2 minutes in the morning and again at night. Once it was driving it started again ok.

Is it the glow plugs?

I did give a friend a driving lesson on Friday night, lots of starting, stopping and driving slowly. It was perfect then, just didnt want to start the next day!

see if the fuel primer is getting hard when pumped several times.If its no then you will need another one

Where is the fuel primer, what does it look like?

It's a black knob/button on top of the fuel filter on the right hand side of the bulkhead - if you are looking from the front of the car.
