Perhaps it was a bit cryptic but...

33's are measured in inches, 265/75/85 whatever 5 are measured in mm. There isnt really an equivalent.
Its a bit like saying i'm 1 meter, 41 inches tall.

The rim size is still measured in inches (unless you have an 80s 6 series)..., and people tend to round up...

i.e. to most, both 285/75/16 and 305/70/16 are "33s" even though in reality they are 32.82"

This is the standard tyre sizing system they use in Japan, and hey, we all run Jap trucks!

It's 2" body, 4" suspension consisting of +2" springs, 2" coil spacers and 2" bj spacers.

I know its equivalent...but its not a 285 for the very reason its a 33.
