Yeah, he came across as a nice bloke, and proved he can drive as well with that lap!

I have to get something to conform with company car rules (small engine, diesel 4 doors).

I'm actually tempted with one of these, because, otherwise I'll probably end up with a 1 series.

I'd keep the surf too, obviously! -which when parked next to it will look like it just gave birth to it..

I do like them in the metal i admit. I know they are a bit chintzy but at least Landrover are still making cars that actually work offroad. Can't say the same for most manufacturers these days everything has gone soft. Lumps of steel turn into decorative plastic and so on.

I suppose they do for 5 mins til the gearbox fails or the electrics give up or they get stuck.

look pretty naff but according to my landrover mechanic friend they are the only modern landrover not to be recalled instantly after release due to some major design cock up….

Give it 10years and there will still be more imported surfs on the road than evoques.

Couldn't agree more. Like all other landys the evoque is probably nice to own and drive for, say, the first 20000 or so miles, the it will turn into the usual money pit.

Nah it looks like I'm going to go with a company supplied BMW.

That way its someone else's problem to tax, insure, fix, etc.

Help me save my pennies to do more stupid stuff to my surf
