Sorry about your loss. It certainly does reminisce with me. The only thing I can offer you is to think of all the times you laughed & cried together, & then think off the times he made you laugh. Think of his funny ways of doing things.
These memories will be a comfort to you in times ahead of you.
It being Mothers Day today is kind of poignant to me. Because, my Dad was a Father & had to be a Mother to me.

It's about 6 1/2 years since mum died and I needed a bit of quiet, contemplative time this evening 'cos it's mothers day today.

sorry to hear the sad news Si. My mum died 4 weeks ago and my son 2 years 8 months ago. My heart goes out to you and your family at this very sad time.
