Just noticed this on the news and thought it might be something to keep an eye on. A free trade agreement with Japan could have a bit of potential, depending on exactly how it's framed, for car imports.
Cheap Surfs anyone? Or how about those odds & sods that you sometimes see on Surfs that have been put on by previous owners in Japan (roof racks, ladders, bull/a-bars, etc) - wonder if there is much else that they stick on their trucks that might become more readily available?
I'm all for helping our Japanese cousins in their time of need...
