Fuel Gauge Problems

I am have problems with my fuel gauge when I fill up it reads full but when it starts to go down it stops between ¾ and ½ full


When I turn off the engine it drops to the bottom of the gauge as normal


Any suggestions welcome

Surf gauges don't drop when you turn the engine off, they give a constant reading regardless.

Sounds like a faulty sender or your fancy reserve tank might be causing it.
