Hi im a good friend of vidamusic who put me on to this site. Im looking to buy a surf within the next few weeks and so i thought i would seek for some advice on what to buy and what not to buy.
Having spoken to Vida i understand the 3.0td gen3 is the best buy however i have seen the odd v6 for sale and wondered how that compares.
Any advice off you would be grateful...
    Thanks Steve

Now then old lad!! Welcome to the site!

But., er... I think you'll find I said 3.0 2nd Gen!!! Like I said, if you're gonna play in it, and lift etc, I'd get a decent 2nd, n chuck a bit at it for big tyres n lift kits etc...

You seen any ya like yet mate? Nice to have ya on here, get that username changed ;-)

                  Hello

                  Buy low and sell high.

And another tip: Don't chop wood in a rubber dinghy.

Don't wear Speedo's when it's -15 and there's snow on the ground - good advice for winter (actually not wearing Speedo's is good advice for any weather)

                              Welcome

Depends which V6. 2nd gen V6 is nice but very very thirsty. 3rd gen V6 is, apparently, nicer and less thirsty but still far from efficient.
