Have just been checking the news regarding what is going on. Has anyone else been following?

Which is about the jets used and where they have come from. It says Canada has commisioned 6 F18's to assist and these were seen in Scotland Preswick airport today. Apparently they stopped for a refuel.

Current situation asside, how much fun would it have been for those 6 or 12 pilots to fly those over here
Would they have flown at airliner height do you think? Can these go over mach 1 without afterburner?
