  • 100 yen...!

Just thought I would share this with all.. Messing around with the surfs interior today, getting ready to fit new stereo, removed centre console and found under the carpet...a 100 yen coin. must have been there since it was imported.
...I know its not exactly world news..but it amused me for a bit !!

      Hi diddy,

A few years ago my son and I were stripping out the interior
of an AX we had bought from a scrap yard for £100.00,
prior to prepping it for racing, and we found £22.00 in loose
change, two gold chains worth £20.00, and half a tank of
petrol another £30.00? total £72.00 not a bad buy we thought.
Sold the racer two years later for £1500.00, a good one that!!

      Gman.
If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.

When I replaced the carpet in my Dodge I found a couple of pages of a 1969 edition of the Vancouver Sun newspaper!

Bizarre this thread came up, I found a two coins yesterday when I was putting the wiring for the sub in (they were under the rear seat carpet). ¥100 and ¥10.

I suspect, given the Tsunami and radiation, they are going to be worth nowt by the end of the week.
