Hi ya, my previous car was a Landrover freelander. It was also a money pit! It was lovely when it was running right, but after the head went it never really did.
Lovin my surf & no way I'd go back to a Landy. They are indeed more comfortable & much more reliable. Good luck with yours when you get one!
Hi Cristyn. Welcome. In answer, if you buy a really good 3.0td and do a few basic mods, then they're better than Landys in every way. Buy carefuly, and enjoy!....Cheers....Mick.

Yep! It takes a couple or 3 weeks to sort out all the paperwork and get it mot'd. Thing is I need to get the old one serviced and cam belt changed too. A ###### expensive month this!
