Great motivational speech. I just struggle sometimes to except that in conflict/business situation that speeches like that heartfelt as apposed to simpley designed to get people to fall into line.

This speech describes what it feels like to follow and then feel let down.

Great Speech - I was never in the military but I'm proud of all of our 'boys' and hearing a speach like that makes you realise what great people we have in our armed forces.

Completely agree - I remeber that about the same time a US General gave a speech on some carrier or other. All I remember of it was the words "It's Hammer Time!" (it wasn't much longer). What a tool. The contrast between the two was telling, and really exemplified the difference in attitude between the US and British forces at the time.

Top Bloke, he was great friend with a collegue of mine who was killed in Iraq when he was doing his resettlement.

Unfortunately never got to meet him as he was GS and I was HS.
