I know someone who has one so I may be able to find some info but I don't have any direct dealings with them I'm afraid.

    Cheers,

    Ray.

From experiances with 2 Legacys and a forum like this for them, Subaru generally are fantasic quality and lots of fun.

But don't let anyone tell you they are economical....

I like them. There are a few vids of Aussies using them with AT's on doing pretty well on youtube. Think they lifted them slightly as well?
Basically the same engine as the Impreza / Legacy right? (Cant remember if the Forrester is 2.5 Turbo)
        Oh Nana, what's my name?

I had an imported forester t/tb a couple of years ago. It wasn't the sti which is much more mental but mine had the impreza wrx engine and was fairly brisk. Was never as quick as was hoping though that may be down to being an auto.

The car itself was very reliable and had some really nice winter features eg. heating element for the wipers. But they are expensive to run. The rear shocks cost me £700 as they were self levelling.

Also there were too many dash rattles from the cheap plastics for my liking. So generally very good but a few flaws let it down for me. The STI is probably worth it just for the engine!

been very reliable and great in snow
