I'm pretty sure that most of the time when you get them from a breaker (I know Stormforce has done it this way in the past) they cut the whole screen surround out and then post it that way other wise if just the glass goes then it's likely to be smashed in transit.

The problem then is removing the glass from the surround without breaking it and re-sealing it in place.

Did you specifically ask for a Hilux Surf windscreen?

They've probably been trying to sell you a Hilux pick-up screen, which I think are different.

I fear the price Toyota quoted you is for a pick-up too, £150 for a windscreen seems too cheap especially from a dealer.

The Surf and 4Runner are the same from 89 to 95, there are different tints though, they are just picking up on your LN130 stopped in 93, and then became the KZN130 with the 3.0TD motor. and there was no UK 4Runner before 93', also 4Runners have black trim Surfs have chrome.

The pickup screen is held in with rubber, old school style, so dosn't have the black painted strip around the edge to hide the glue and is slightly smaller all round as it dosn't have to overlap the lip of the body work to be glued in.

If you can get it out I have screen in breaker truck, but I always break them trying to get them out.. lol
