    No question about it!
The Runner gives me about 20-22 mpg the RR about 13-16,and Diesel is 80 pence a gallon cheaper here!!!

If I could get 18-22 mpg out of my Range Rover I'd dump the Toyota like a hot potatoe!!

    Regards

Luke I get between 13 & 16 mpg. I've had LPG on a v6 mondeo and don't like it. I found it lumpy on a cold engine , and power is defo down.

The options for the RR LPG tanks are poor 100 litre tank holds 70 litres= range of 180 miles, and my nearest LPG filling station is a 40 mile round trip!

My poor old Rangie is laid up for now anyway, waiting for a new £1000 block!!!

LPG isn't mined, it's drilled. It generally comes entraned within crude oil, once the crude is piped to a stabilisation plant, the pressure of the crude oil is dropped, this allows the entrained gasses to flash off. Once the gas is free, it is passed to compressors where the pressure is raised again and the gas passed on to a fractionation plant.

In the (simplified) fractionation process, the gas is split into C3, C4 and C5+. These gasses (or liquid in the case of C5+) are passed on to process units to be made in to saleable products, such as LPG, or sent either to Ethylene crackers or straight to export (C3 & C4). Some of the export gas is used for corrections and blends for various processes within the refinery or chemical plant.

If you need to know more, give me a shout.

Exactly, you can only respond to what you see on the screen, if you don't make yourself clear, it just doesn't work.
