Veteran toyota owner here, most recent being a bomb proof 1990 toyota 4 runner.
I came across this site while searching for a replacement truck and well... could only come to one conclusion; the only thing that might be able to come close to my 4runner's never die reliability and go anywhere gusto would be a 3.0L TD inter-cooled Hilux Surf fresh off the boat from Japan!
Although the truck won't land until July, (due to Canadian Import laws) I have been researching mods and cruising the pics and info listed on this site... Great Stuff!
